Software Engineering Assistant · University of South Florida
June 2026–Present. Building and integrating the
AI Course Companion tutor for STEM students and engineering faculty,
including Teach, an active-recall experience with personalized knowledge-gap feedback.
At Fastboy Marketing, I worked on customer check-in summaries and API reliability. At Zota, I helped merchants configure payment applications and troubleshoot checkout issues.
I also collaborated on a mental health website at Viện Đào Tạo Bách Khoa and provided technical support and system development at DK Mobility.
My path into software started with CNC machines in 2014 and 2016, where I learned precision and the habit of checking the result. I moved to Tampa in 2017 and managed my family's shop from 2018 to 2022, handling customer service, IT, and technical support. Customer conversations taught me to listen; troubleshooting connected those needs to technology. Professional IT work added systems thinking, and UX and engineering gave me ways to turn that understanding into useful software. Each experience built on the last, and today those lessons come together in AI Course Companion and RiskPilot AI.
Outside product work, I help organize Hack The Bay hackathons and campus tech talks, coordinating logistics, outreach, and communications.
